The CCPC serves approximately 600 children in several community programs including, Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC), One on One Mentoring, Youth Work & Life Sills, Nurturing Family Network, and two Alternative Education Programs-Blake Street Leadership Academy, Pathways.
Our programs provide intensive support services to children and their families by providing in-home services, as well as to provide parenting skills to our foster, adoptive, and biological parents. The goal is to maintain children in their homes, as well as provide the skills necessary for biological families to be reunited with their children. Families are seen at least weekly in most programs. The programs also provide our families with 24-hour on call services. In addition to home-based services, all of our programs provide creative community resources for families including, but not limited to respite, providing or arranging for clinical services, recreational services, as well as other services, training and support. While many of our children are in out-of-home placements, the issues that our families face are similar to those faced by all parents.
